Well after a long hard week of testing tweaking and playing around with our first sex pheromones to be reviewed, the androstenone pheromone has left a lot to be desired.. what we mean by that is, it just didn't do what it said it's supposed to do! We chose to review androstenone first out of all the other pheromones just purely on the fact that it has a lot of publicity and massive internet coverage.
We have heard very good things about this product and to be honest we were very excited to say the least when we received it.
Our initial reaction when we opened up the small bubble wrapped package was.. "erm, ok so where's the rest of it!" the bottle that the androstenone pheromone concentrate came in was very small.. but we decided to give it a shot and put it to the test. So fast forward 7 days and we have concluded our results...

Duration
Ok so androstenone pheromone is an oil based pheromone product and they suggest that you only dabble a little on your wrists, neck and behind the ears. As it is an oil based scent it has been proven to last longer so even though the bottle is VERY small, it means that you only need to put a small amount on and it can last up to 8 hours or more. Our studies have shown that it did last longer than 8 hours as we kept smelling it throughout the day, in actual fact it lasts longer than you may think, but on one condition, it can't rub against your clothes as the smell will fade and also the oil could potentially stain your clothes!
All in all the smell lasted a very long time and we were extremely happy with the amount of time it stayed on.
Ease of use
Although easy to use in some respects it did become quite annoying, because it is oil based and you had to keep worrying about whether it would stain your best shirt! When you dab some oil on your hand you need to go back for more and if you don't wipe your hands first then you will get the bottle all greasy.
Effectiveness
None what so ever! For 7 days running we didn't even get even a sniff of attraction from any hot females at all, you will see this in the mini study. We followed the directions on the bottle and went out to socialise, but nothing out of the ordinary happened, so on the effectiveness side of things, androstenone pheromone sucked for us big time.
Price
Well there are two different bottles you can get, a full size bottle which is (full strength) and a king size bottle which is (double strength). This actually quite annoys us, because you obviously want it to be the same strength and just use less or more. What is the point in two bottles?? Well anyway we went for the king size bottle obviously and STILL NOTHING HAPPENED. So let's forget this rant and go back to the price, the price is reasonable, but for the bottle size we think it should be $5 or $6 less really.
Value for money
Ok so using everything above and summing up all the feedback we would say that androstenone pheromone concentrate is not value for money and is a waste of time and money. But this is only our conclusion and not anyone else's so you can either take it or leave it... up to you. If the product even gave us one thing to write about that was good we would quite happily give it better feedback but it gave us squat so no value for a small chunk of our money, unlike other products such as a natural pheromone as mentioned in our attract rx review.
Also can we just say that this site is an extension of what seems to be a parent site for loads of other products, not relating to pheromones, so that didn't give us a massive boost in confidence at all! It just looked like the company's whole idea was to make money and not help people, we may be completely wrong but this is just how we felt.
Androstenone Pheromone Review (The Stats)
We tried androstenone for 7 days straight and recorded all of our findings and test results when out using it. We honestly have used this product for a full 7 days in real every day life! We tried it everywhere including shops, coffee shops, buses, the street, night clubs, bars / pubs, book shops, you name it we tried it. Also we used it on 3 of our guys on several occasions so this was a full split test on 3 guys with all different genetics, so something had to work, right?
We went up to 30 women in total on the street and asked them one by one if they liked what we were wearing and if it aroused them in any way... the results were:
2% Said YES
98% Said NO!
So our full and thorough results concluded that androstenone pheromone does not work in any social interaction what so ever.. and only 2% of women out of 30 found it arousing!
